In this episode, I take a look at a tea from a fun tea company called Revolution Tea. They have a lot of great packaging ideas to make loose leaf tea easy to drink on the road or at home. While I love their marketing and packaging, the tea is nothing to write home about. The White Pear that I try in this episode is pretty bland all the way around. I guess I’ll have to give some of their other blends a shot. Cheers.

In this episode I take a look at the Peach Momotaro from Teavana. This is what’s known as a flowering or blooming tea. It is a hand woven ball of white tea leaves, with a small bouquet of chrisanthemine and jasmine flowers inside. When brewed, the tea ball unfurls and produces a very elegant looking tea pot and a light flavored tea. Obviously this tea is best brewed in a clear tea pot, like the Sorapot, shown in this episode. Let me know if you’ve tried any other blooming teas that you’ve enjoyed. Cheers.

Among them, we’ll discuss Irish Breakfast – a very good black tea, White Tropics – a coconutty white, and Cancer – a unique blend of green, white, and rooibos from their Zodiac series.  Also I’ll reveiew an organic tangerine ginger tea from Rishi Teas.  Let me know your thoughts, if you’ve tried any of these before. Cheers.
